I am excited to announce that Abhyasa Nutritional Therapy will be working with The Healthier Track (THT) from today, 13th July.
The Healthier Track, part of the 120,000 women strong Run Mummy Run collective, is a community for women looking to stay healthy and happy. The closed Facebook group is a safe environment for women of all ages and it covers a wide range of subjects surrounding women’s health.
There are 6 main Lanes of Health and Happiness:
- Women’s Health
- Nutrition and Healthy Eating
- Sleep and Relaxation
- Exercise and Fitness
- Healthy Experiences and Entertainment
- Kit and Equipment
As a fully qualified and registered nutritional therapist (mBANT rCNHC) I will be working closely with the THT team and contribute regularly to their Nutrition and Healthy Eating Lane with content and advice.
I am passionate about helping people to achieve optimum physical and mental health through sustainable nutrition and lifestyle changes, and I can’t wait to share my knowledge with the members of THT.
My particular areas of expertise include Menopause, Healthy Ageing, Immune System Support and Mental Health, but I will be covering a wide range of nutrition related areas for THT.
Nutrition is one of the foundations of our health and wellbeing, but it’s not a quick fix – which is where the elements of “Abhyasa” come in (Abhyasa derives from a Yogi Sanskrit and is pronounced ah-bee-YAH-sah, meaning practice, effort and being present).
Nutritional Therapy is about treating you as the unique, individual person that you are, taking into consideration many factors. The aim is to get to the root of your health concern and to achieve a natural balance through positive and sustainable changes, in line with your own health goals and lifestyle.
Everybody is unique in many ways – including genetically and biochemically – and there are normally multiple factors involved with health concerns. The advice given on THT will be general advice, and any advice offered is not a substitute for medical advice.
